EMBO Courses, Workshops & Conference Series

Conference Series

EMBO Conference Series allows scientists to regularly meet and discuss the latest findings in major research areas with global leaders in the field. European conferences may alternate with corresponding conferences in a series held in North America or Asia, where appropriate, and may take place over a six-year period. Organizers apply to hold a series of three conferences covering different and evolving aspects of a relatively broad subject area.
Successful applicants receive funding for the first conference and EMBO allocates funding for an additional two conferences. Organizers must re-apply to receive the funding for the additional two conferences following the success of the first conference.
