EMBO Life Sciences Mobility Portal

Similar to scientists in other disciplines, biologists are increasingly going online to search for literature, data of various types and other information relevant to their research activities and careers. EMBO's Information Support & Resources underpins the online communication of the organisation's activities, both to the communities it serves and to other stakeholders with interests or involvement in the Life Sciences.

Activities

The EMBO website keeps scientists informed, catering for the EMBO networks, the wider scientific community and other groups with an interest in the life sciences. It also provides all online services for those wishing to make applications for short and long-term fellowships, young investigators, courses, workshops and conferences and installation grants.

The EMBO Life Sciences Mobility Portal fulfils the needs of the increasingly mobile life scientist by providing an extensive online source of international funding, training and career opportunities. The portal is fully searchable and provides up to date information on:

    • Fellowships and grants
    • International training programmes
    • Employment opportunities

EMBO FellowsNet is a website that caters both for current awardees in the EMBO Long-Term Fellowship Programme and for the increasing number of scientists who received a fellowship award in the past. The website provides a forum in which these groups can exchange information, discuss issues of current interest and find partners for collaboration.
